  • Condition: Good vintage condition, No chips/cracks. A few tiny bubble in glass, as expected. Occasional fine scratches - mostly on label side; opposite side is fairly clear. There is some residue/haze inside lower half of vase; not sure whether or not it can be cleaned out, as I don't have anything to reach down in there. Please ZOOM the LARGE PIX for further DETAILS.

    Description

    Here is a very collectible art glass Bud Vase from
    KOSTA
    of Sweden.
    The vase stands 9-3/4" tall x 4" wide. It is a heavy sommerso style vase, with blue inside clear glass.
    According to my research, the "LH" part of the mark signifies it was hand-formed by designer Vicke Lindstrand; shape #1828 was designed in the 1950s
    (it appeared in 1958-1959 catalogs, so design at least a bit older than that)

    It is hand signed on the bottom:
    "Kosta
    LH 1828"
