Description
This 1969 AMC SC/Rambler is an early A-Scheme model, made in the second or third week of A-scheme production. It's got just 139 miles on it and was originally a pace car before being turned into a race car in the early 70s. The original 390 engine is gone, but there’s a 360 from a Jeep sitting in the engine bay now. After its racing days, it ended up in a fence row for years. I recently got it cleaned up and preserved what I could. The 4-speed transmission and shifter are included but currently out of the car. Note, there’s no fuel tank or radiator.
The original front seats are with it but need new foam and covers. This SC/Rambler is a cool survivor with a lot of history and needs some love to get back on the road. Perfect for someone who loves classic race cars and wants a unique project.
