Description

1983 AMC Eagle wagon. It is an original 5-speed car which has been 4.0 swapped.
Fresh rebuilt 5-Speed Transmission
Fresh rebuilt Transfer Case
4.0L was pulled from a 1993 Cherokee XJ
Remanufactured block - about 5000 miles on it
Upgraded Injectors
Aftermarket Intake
Throttle Body Spacer
Brand new CV axles
New rotors and disc brakes
Rear drum brakes were done about 300 miles ago
Newer Bridgestone tires with tons of life left on them
New steering damper
New 4WD vacuum canister
Jeep XJ steering box upgrade
New Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan
New thermostat
New Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders (with an actual fluid reservoir, no more rubber fill tube)
Front axle was just serviced.
New headliner
The interior is in fantastic shape.
The previous owner changed out the radio bezel for the later din-style and added a Bluetooth head unit, as well as put in new rear speakers
Other:
New hood release cable
New hatch struts
New rubber floor mats & rear cargo mat
Included will be a 4.0 Flywheel, Jeep Starter/Battery Harness, & 4.0 Starter if you wish to convert it to the new style mini starter.
Known Issues:
Currently has an electrical bug, causing the engine to stall if the clutch is slammed hard at slow speeds. Pressing the clutch normally, the car drives just fine.
Also seems to have a small oil leak from the corner of the pan, multiple gasket sets are included.
Runs and drives well. Cruises 75mph with no problem.
Body and underside are clean, no rust.
