    Old Chinese underglaze blue large porcelain jar showing a four clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl
    Possibly dating from the late Ming to the early QIng Dynasty
    The jar has old repairs with multiple iron staples
    The jar was purchased in the early 1990s and was found with an article from March 30, 1994 San Francisco Chronicle Home section
    by  Ralph and Terry Kovel addresses the question of old repairs on Chinese porcelain (see next to last photo)
    The jar comes with an old wood lid
    Height is 10 inches
    Width at widest part is 8 1/2 inches
