Royal Design by Morten’s Studio “Labrador Retriever” Ceramic Dog Figure

Up for sale is a ceramic figurine of a “Labrador Retriever” by Royal Design-Morten’s Studio. It has a glossy finish but suffers from the common splitting/cracking known on these figures. The inner metal frame is expanding which separates the outer ceramic. The front half is excellent and the splitting is all on the rear half of the dog.
The paper breed label tag is present along with the Royal Design sticker/Morten’s decal on the bottom.
This is one of many figures I’ll be listing that was part of a collection acquired in the mid 50s through late 50s. They were put into storage in 1960 and haven’t seen the light of day until now!
It measures 4 3/4” high by 6 1/2” long
