These were sent to media outlets for promotional purposes, to be used by writers doing reviews or features about the films, and were not sold at retail stores. Press kits do NOT include the movie itself.

This is the Press Kit for the 1998 movie "The Avengers" based on the popular British TV spy series from the 1960s (that starred Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg.) Ralph Fiennes plays John Steed and Uma Thurman plays Emma Peel. Oscar winner Sean Connery plays the villain Sir August De Wynter. The elaborate press kit (really a work of art) includes a 12"x 9" glossy folder with die-cut around the characters.  Velcro holds the cover closed, so be careful when opening the folder not to pull the velcro off. Inside are three black and white stills with seven pictures of the stars in action. The folder also contains 20 pages of production notes, the credits, and a five-page "Opening Announcement Story."  There are no marks or tears, only a few minor impressions on the folder.
This is a beautiful press kit that has been beautifully stored indoors in plastic for the past 20+ years.
